The following are the guidelines for each CRRT regional teams:

1.   At each Regional Association meeting, Chaplains will meet in conjunction with the regional meeting.

Note:      Meeting with the regional associations will provide a local place for us to meet, a time of fellowship, and a meal.

2.   Provide a networking opportunity for the Chaplains in their respective region.

Note:  In the event when a local or regional incident occurs, the Chaplains will have already established a rapport and be able to work as a team.

3.   Provide a networking opportunity for the Fire & Rescue Departments to interact with the Chaplains in their regions.

Note:      Not all Fire & Rescue Departments have a Chaplain, so this opens the door for these departments to see and talk with a Chaplain in their local area.

4.   Recruit a backup Chaplain as a contact person in the event that the lead Chaplain is unavailable for whatever reason.

As you can see, the guidelines are very short and simple, as we promised.  We have not created another organization filled with meetings, bylaws, dues and hierarchy; just a vehicle to network among ourselves, and a chance to better serve those whom we serve.

In closing, thank you to those who have stepped forward to serve.  Please pray about the opening that you see in our Regional concept and give us a call or drop us an email for more information, questions, or comments.
