Reginald has been in the fire service for 33 years, 13 as a volunteer and 20 as a career firefighter. He has served as president for the Western N.C. Association and the N.C. Association of Fire Chiefs.

Reginald lives in Boone with his wife Diane and their children Lauren and Kyle.
